This artwork took inspiration from the legend about giants from Greek mythology that have 100 arms who were also the children of Gaia and Uranus. They represented the natural forces of earthquakes and huge tidal waves. The choice of a model is determined by the artist's belief that women associates with the greatest power that they hold inside.
